‘The Paper Dress Project ‘

A project where I designed and created two dresses made entirely from poetry books and thick card. I was the designer and collaborated with Adrianne Hill to construct both garments, which took over 100 hours per dress. Both dresses were designed around the themes and styles of two of my favourite poets. This first dress with the leaves cascading down the back was inspired by Walt Whitman and the long dress with the centre front cut out was inspired by Robert Frost.
